I'm not sure if you have a boy, girl or both. If they are both girls you should try Cinderella's Royal Table. You eat inside the castle and the prinesses are there. Chef Mickey's is also great, you will see the gang there, so the kids would love that.

Depending on when you are going a new breakfast is supposed to be coming out ,Breakfast and Beyond, in April. This will feature characters from Toy Story. Ohana's is also a lot of fun.

If you are looking for non-character meals, Sci Fi is great and so is 50s prime time. All of them have really great food. If you are looking for a good value then you should try Beaches and Cream at Beach Club, the food is delicious and the prices are really good as well. Kids also have a lot of fun at Whispering Canyon.

Really, you can't go wrong with the food at Disney. They have so many choices and kids can pretty much find something they like anywhere. I definately recommend doing a few character meals for the kids, these are a lot of fun and allow more interaction with characters than you can get in the parks.

Hope this helps

There are so many great restaurants in DisneyWorld. Character dining is a must. Our favorite is Ohana's for breakfast at the Polynesian resort. We also like Liberty Tree Taver at Magic Kingdom. I'm not a big Chef Mickey's fan though. For restaurants without characters the Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge has great food and is fun for the kids. At Epcot, Germany has a huge buffet and a show that the kids can dance to. For Characters don't do the princesses in Norway though, it is yucky. Oh and there is always the Cinderella's Royal Table in the castle, but you have to make reservations way in advance.

This answer could depend a lot on how much you are willing to spend. The medium price range would be the 50's Prime Time Cafe. You sit in small areas that look like kitchens from the 1950's and the servers enjoy interacting with the kids. They also have a good variety of food including meat loaf, veggies, and pot roast, along with the usual kid's

meals. Going to a high price range would be the Character dining locations. The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom is good. It is a large buffet, and they have a whole separate buffet for the kids (although they can eat from both buffets). They also have all the Pooh characters there.

Most of the character dining locations are nice for kids, that just happens to be one I really enjoy. A MUST DO is the

Hoop-Dee-Do Revue, at Wilderness Lodge. It is a western dinner show and the kids WILL LOVE IT. Lots of characters, singing and dancing (and audience participation). I do suggest that you call way, way ahead of time for reservations to

1(800)WDW-DINE. That show books up way in advance. Have Fun

If you can get reservations for a character meal (and have the money to spend; they are pricey) I recommend either Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort or 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. Inside the parks, the 50s PrimeTime Cafe at MGM Studios is fun, but if you have picky eaters I suggest avoiding the SciFi Dine In at MGM. At Magic Kingdom, Liberty Tree Tavern is great for lunch. At Epcot, you have many choices in all the different countries, but they aren't necessarily much fun for little ones. Your best bet to save money is to eat outside the parks; on highway 192 or on Vineland road (535) you can find many of the standard restaurant chains.

For ice cream, however, I recommend a visit to Beaches and Cream, which is located at the Beach Club Resort. It's small, and a little pricey, but if you go just for the ice cream, it will be worth it!
